Finally, I get a couple of minutes to sit down and write to you, I am so excited to tell you about this amazing Ebook that I found!
~ Extremely Essential Camera Skills ~
It is written / narrated by this pretty awesome couple Rob and Lauren Lim. Rob and Lauren are living a life I could only dream of, they travel the world taking pictures, sometimes for other people and sometimes for themselves, but how fun would that be?!
Envy aside, back to the book. Their description of it is this,
"A multimedia tutorial that teaches you to take control over your camera, and get creative and confident with your photography."
And they are absolutely right, the book itself has many things to offer the beginner or advanced photographer alike, and to take it one step further, there are 7 vlogs in it which they do a
great job of explaining step by step, in common words, not scientific
camera lingo, what they are having you do. There are a ton, of detailed pictures walking you through each step, showing visual learners like me, how to do it. Plus, it's FUN to read and it only takes a few hours, not days or weeks to get you shooting better pictures!
Now, I shoot with a Canon 5D and I know how to work my way around manual pretty well. However, there were little tips and tricks that I had overlooked and/or just not taken the time to do. After applying just a few of their techniques, my photographs already look ten times better, and I am much faster. Who doesn't want to save years of schooling or months of reading books you can't understand that drown on and on?! I like instant gratification, and this book is as close as you can get to taking better pictures, NOW.
One thing that I do wish is that I could get a hardback copy of the book, I love to have pages to feel and flip through over and over again. While they don't offer a hard copy, you do get a FREE printable Field Guide that you can keep in your camera bag, or on your nightstand like mine is, or both!
To make it even better Lauren has generously offered up a free copy to one of my wonderful readers! I hope your as excited as I am about this, because the best part is you don't need to own a fancy camera to take great pictures, you can use this guide and take fantastic pictures with any camera, and you know you want to get some new pictures of your little ones, the pets, and that gorgeous sunrise!
So here ya go, enter away and make sure to leave an email so that I can get in contact with you when you win!! Ready. . . Set. . . GO!!
